Yulia Germanovich was born in Minsk in 1986. She graduated from the Minsk Innovative Institute with a degree in Legal Psychology in 2008. During her studies at the institute, Yulia developed an interest in photography as a means of observing and capturing the surrounding reality, deepening her understanding of people and herself.
After graduating from the institute, Yulia immersed herself in her work as a psychologist, as well as in the study of theoretical and practical knowledge in analog photography.
Yulia's photographic practice is primarily focused on creating projects in the field of personal documentary photography, which includes working with archives and various applied methods of working with images. Additionally, Yulia actively engages in the study and documentation of urban landscapes and their components.
Currently, Yulia is working on a photo project dedicated to the processes of recovery and overcoming personal crises following psychological trauma.
