Pasi Orrensalo was born in Kuopio, Finland in 1969. Pasi started to photograph when his daughter was born in 2011. The girl was premature and weighted approx.1 kg. This experience changed the way Pasi senses the world around him. He got a whole new perspective on life and discovered his sensitivity. Pasi got a strong urge to create something visible of these powerful emotions. Photography gave him tools to set the locked up artist free.
Since the discovery of his life passion in photography Pasi has been productive and done versatile projects simultaneously. Pasi has a rich imagination and he uses it to tell stories and convey emotions in his work. Nowadays he is a professional photographer and he studies photography in VVI (Institute of Visual Communication) in Tampere. His first book will be published in spring 2016.
