Jonas Larsson Folkeson was born in Söderhamn, Sweden in 1989. He started his journey in photography at Forsa Folkhögskola with photography course. This was the jumping-off point to delve into his studies.
He later studied photo-journalism at Nordic school of photography, Biskops Arnö. In addition to the examination work about him and his father, he received the Nudok diploma from The Nordic museum.
2015, Jonas focused on documenting his own life and the people around him in Hälsingland, Sweden. This resulted in a publication on Burn Diar.y.
Photography is his way of examining the human mind and finding out what makes us who we are. He often uses himself and people that are close to him in his photography.
