Lucile Chombart de Lauwe is born in 1986, she lives near Paris - France. She has been graduated from the National School of Photography (Arles, France) in 2010.
As a free-lance photographer, she produced several documentary projects towards social subjects such as a photo series about people working during the night (de nuit, 2010).
She also worked on the settlement of nomadic community in Mongolia, a 8 years long project, Foyers (urbains) mongols.
Recently she immersed herself in the world of the sea, crossing the Atlantic ocean on a cargo ship.
Having been a social worker for several years, Lucile Chombart de Lauwe learned a sensitive and adequate way to approach the photographic topics she chooses.
