Dagmar van Weeghel graduated from the Dutch Film Academy at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 1998 and worked as a TV & Film professional. After some years, she moved to Africa and lived and worked as a filmmaker for over a decade in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Botswana, Uganda, and South Africa, amongst other African countries. In 2015 Dagmar crossed over to the medium of Photography in order to share her and her co-authors' stories.
