About Veeddeya Dheda

Veeddeya is hoping to share not just her vision but herself through her art because within every piece she creates, there is a piece of herself. Therefore, she's hoping that through her photography, people can find a home within her art so that the world can become a little less lonely and have more homes. More safe spaces. To be seen and feel heard. Hoping that eventually, she can create a vision/visual language through her photography where people can see things through a different lens. One that honors the quiet, the vulnerable, and the uniquely different qualities we all carry.

She began her journey by trying out this fascinating thing called taking photographs. Curiosity and a camera, really. Little did she know, this would grow her into a deeper understanding of the world, people, and most importantly... herself.

On the last day of a warm winter evening, awaiting Spring like a fresh breath of air, she was birthed on the 31st of August 2002, born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is currently a BSc Property Studies Honours student and a BCom Finance Graduate.

She thinks that it's important to dedicate one's life to service and is therefore, hoping to start her own business that solves big world problems. She intends to grow with the photography community; by learning skills and winning competitions, successfully starting up her photography business, and a Podcast for the Photography Community.
