New Visions Photography Awards: Announcing 25 Remarkable Photographers

LensCulture’s New Vision Awards are designed to identify and reward a new generation of outstanding artists who are using the visual language of photography in remarkable ways — to tell stories, to explain complex situations, to express emotions, to celebrate moments of life from cultures around the world.

Over the course of six weeks from December 2024 to January 2025, we received thousands of entries from photographers in 150+ countries, including over 7,000 free submissions.

27 international photography experts and a team of screeners reviewed submissions and selected winners and shortlisted photographers in six categories, and one photographer was awarded Discovery of the Year. The range of work is stunning, and the quality is outstanding.

Prizes include exhibitions in London and New York, exposure to LensCulture’s international audience of over 3 million photography lovers, and more than $20,000 in grants and gear.

We are honored to present the following 25 photographers who we believe will be demonstrating the power and fluency of photography for coming generations.
