STRATA|B unfolds as a narrative capturing a fragment of Bucharest, a specific time period, and digital realms. It chronicles the recording of interactions between people and the walls of a portion of the old city center in 2014. The project evolves into a reflection on the transient nature of traces left on walls, prompting questions about the fate of colors and the creation of a digital space encoding these interactions. The book presents a circular formula, intertwining photographs of observed walls with their digital transformations into color grids and word landscapes, along with a real wall sample and geographic coordinates, inviting readers to embark on their own journey.
